A
house concert is a chance to experience music in a warm and intimate
environment. Someone opens up their home and invites their friend
into their living room to share in a performance. Some hosts
add in potluck dinners or desert tables. With small venues
discontinuing live music because of increasing pressure from BMI and
ASCAP, house concerts are becoming a chosen venue for original
independent performers.
