Q: [Where do you get the idea for your songs?

A: Sometimes I write about my own experiences, sometimes I write about the experiences of people I know or people I've met, and sometimes I just make shit up.

Q: I see a couple of your songs were on previous CDs.  Why have you released them again.

A: My two earlier albums were recorded in my basement on a TASCAM DP01 and reproduced on CD-R.  The current recordings, done on analog equipment at Dirt Floor Recording in Chester and Deep River, have a much richer and deeper sound.  Besides "Dust on the Water" and "Curtis Brand Live at the Rain Desert Cafe" had pretty limited distribution.  I think I gave away more copies than I sold.
